Fostering

Our rescue is entirely foster-based; we don't own a building or office to house our cats. Instead, our fosters take care of the cats we take in. That means the more fosters we have, the more cats we can help!

We are happy to help you find the foster cats that fit best with your lifestyle and current living situation. All we really need from you is a spare bedroom or bathroom (if you plan to keep the fosters separate from the rest of your home) and the desire to care for cats in need. 

Any cats who come into your care can be combo-tested to prevent the spread of disease if you have other cats in your home. 

• As a foster, you will be tasked with providing appropriate shelter and attention to the cat(s) in your care. 
• Supplies. Many of our fosters provide their own food, litter, and toys, but we are happy to provide these items if needed. 
• Time. Some cats can take a while to get adopted while others may take just days. We are happy to work with your life and schedule; if you can only spare a month or two, we'll take it! Any time at all is a huge help.
• Love! When it comes down to it, all we're really asking is for you to love your fosters. Take photos of them, tell us about their personalities, and give them the love and attention they deserve until we can place them in a forever home.

• Vet expenses. All vet expenses, including vaccines and medications, are covered by us!
• Transport, if needed. Taking cats to and from their vet appointments isn't required and we will work with you and your schedule to figure out the best way to get them to where they need to be. 
• Equipment & supplies, if needed. We will happily provide you with litterboxes, carriers, toys, food, etc. as needed.
